The Tacoma Food Co‐op is looking for a new General Manager

Our Mission: The Tacoma Food Co-op shall be a model cooperative market within a sustainable local food system.

The Tacoma Food Co-op is a thriving young organization made up of people devoted to making Tacoma a better place to live and eat. The General Manager (GM) is the leader of our co-op of 15 passionate employees, 1700 member owners (and growing), and a supportive board of directors. The GM drafts the plans that will bring the Co-op’s vision to live, and oversees all aspects of the operation from making sure the doors open in the morning to managing the budget that will allow us to open more doors in other parts of our fair city. The GM works with a 9 member volunteer board of directors to set the vision. The GM brings that vision to life. Your passion, creativity, and skill are the only limits to how far our co-op can go and what we can do together.
